Review Highlights Neuromuscular Vulnerability

A review led by Dr. Saxena and Dr. Moss and in collaboration with Dr. Arnold, Dr. Nishimune and Fereshteh Darvishi was published in the Journal of Neuroscience: "The Neuromuscular Junction: A shared Vulnerability in Aging and Disease". This work summarizes our 2025 SfN MiniSymposium and was featured as the cover image.

Dr. Smita Saxena received the Best Basic Research Poster Award at the recent 2025 Northeast Amyotropic Lateral Sclerosis (NEALS) Annual Meeting held in Clearwater, Florida. Poster title: “Talineuren (TLN): A GM1-Loaded Nanoliposomal Therapeutic Targeting Mitochondrial Dysfunction and Proteostasis in ALS”.
