Proprioception and Peripheral Nerve Aging

The Castoro Lab investigates mechanisms underlying proprioceptive dysfunction and peripheral nerve aging across the lifespan. By integrating clinical neuromuscular research with molecular, structural and physiological approaches, the lab aims to define how aging alters sensory and motor nerve function and to identify strategies that preserve mobility, balance and neuromuscular health.
